This picture was taken the night my grandfather was passing away in Italy.
These young men are lighting the way for the Torah roll to pass by and enter the synagogue where it will be donated to in memory of someone who lived, a boy who survived a very bad car accident.
So, I am not going to remember this photo as a sad one even though it was shot the night my grand-dad was slipping away from us.
I am just glad when he was about to close his eyes forever, I was taking a photo of a moment celebrating life.
