I do not shoot models. This has been my statement and motto for the three years I have been in the photography business. The fashion world is not for me. Too “rich and famous” for my taste. “Too clique'” and not photojournalistic enough.
But, Wednesday a good friend found me a job on the fly on the backstage of a jewelry shooting. I took it and I never had so much fun in my life. The models are not “devils wearing Pradas” at all and their charisma and beauty are contagious. Not to mention the whole energy that comes out on a big photography set like that of a 15-people production is just invigorating and exhilarating at the same time…it’s was all about find a story within the story and enjoy the free catered food *(inclusive of a killer chocolate cake).
